Russian Certificate Attestation for UAE

Many expatriates migrate to the UAE for a broader range of opportunities, whether for business, education, or career. However, applying for a residence visa in the UAE has a complex procedure. For the UAE to recognise your certificates and documents from the issuing country, they must undergo proper embassy attestation.

Documents issued in Russia must have proper embassy attestation before the United Arab Emirates accepts submissions for visa processing. Russia does not issue certificates in English, so a certified translation is necessary before finalizing the embassy attestation.

How to process the attestation of Russian documents for the UAE:

1. Certified Translation from Russian to English:

You must translate Russian certificates into English, including degree, birth, and marriage certificates. For acceptance at foreign consulates or UAE embassy, the translation is required.

2. The Ministry of Justice is based in Moscow, Russia.

After translation, the Ministry of Justice in Russia certifies the document. We compile the Russian and English versions into a single document for recognition.

3. The attestation comes from the Russian Ministry of External Affairs.

Documents must have the original authentication seal from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). The MOFA seal authenticates the document, enabling its submission for consulate legalisation for overseas use.

4. UAE Embassy Attestation in Moscow, Russia:

Following the attestation by the Russian MOFA, the UAE Embassy in Russia provides the final attestation required by Russia. The document receives a stamp from consular officers, indicating its legal submission to the UAE MOFA.

5. MOFA Attestation in Dubai:

In the UAE, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) provides the final attestation step for document authentication. Unless the UAE government mandates a legal Arabic translation, this step is mandatory. The MOFA UAE seal is crucial for finalising the attestation for UAE visa processing.

6. Legal Translation to Arabic:

After obtaining the MOFA attestation, a legal Arabic translation may be required. Accredited legal translators in the UAE handle this process. The translators meticulously explain the contents of the document and guarantee the inclusion of all attestation stamps in the final legal translation draft.

After completing the MOFA attestation in Dubai, you can submit the document for processing the UAE visa.
